In 1903, a handful of farmers in the southwest Oklahoma County community of Wheatland pooled $10,000 to capitalize a bank to serve themselves and other merchants and farmers in that part of the Oklahoma Territory. Over a century later, after a few name changes and a move a few miles North to Bethany, that same bank is still serving the people and small businesses of Bethany as well as our neighbors in Greater Oklahoma City.
